Sector that includes banks, insurance companies, wealth management firms and other financial services. It is the heart of the economic system. Main sub-sectors: commercial and investment banks, life and property insurance, asset management and fintech. Characteristics: sensitivity to interest rates and regulation and high financial leverage.
